After a whole day controversy on the McLaren’s ‘spy-scandal’ hearing in Paris, the FIA finally made their wise judgement. McLaren will be excluded from 07 constructor’s championship, stripped of the constructor pts, and fined 100 million dollars as penalty of stealing and using Ferrari’s confidential data. As well, McLaren are also required to submit detailed plans of their 2008 car to the FIA in case of continuing using Ferrari’s confidential data.

Fortunately McLaren’s two drivers will not be stripped of the pts as penalty due to their cooperation with the FIA and handed up the evidence.

The new evidence is the e-mails b/w the McLaren engineers and drivers which shows that they indeed used Ferrari’s confidential data in their cars and racing.

McLaren finally paid for their stupidity, but the driver’s title competition is still b/w the two McLaren’s drivers. I guess, Alonso might turn back to Renault after this terrible year’s co-operation with McLaren, Renault may hand their rookie Kovalainen to Toyota, so what about Toyota’s Ralf Schumacher ? Go to DTM ?

Its really unacceptable for us tifosi that McLaren dominated the whole weekend at Ferrari home Italian Monza grand prix. Ferrari didnt continue their 1-2 wins miracle in Turkey, but McLaren did it. Their drivers Alonso and Hamilton reaped the 1st and 2nd position both in Qualifying and the Sunday race.

As well, Ferrari’s six 1-2 wins for the last 6 GPs promise failed just in the 2nd race. Their cars just lack of speed the whole weekend! Even so, Ferrari still did a great job on Kimi Raikkonen, his one pit-stop strategy was positively brilliant, letting him maintain his 3rd place stably, and unfortunately handed the 2rd place to Hamilton due to the Ferrari car’s low performance. Dont blame it on Kimi, dont blame it on him for wasting the brilliant strategy, its just the car problem.

Massa was the unlucky one again, he DNF because of the car’s rear suspension problem.

I have to say, to be realistic, Ferrari has lost their battle this year. The only chance they can fight back is the new hearing for McLaren’s spy-scandal on Sep 13th. New evidences appeared that McLaren drivers had and shared the Ferrari’s confidential data.

After 2 weeks rest, the Formula race moved to European GP, Nuerburgring Circuit in German. Personally I prefer Hockenheim Circuit to Nuerburgring :D

Alonso luckily grabbed his 1st position from Massa thx to the rain. And Massa finally got 2nd, Red Bull Australian driver Webber won his 1st podium in this season. Both Hamilton and Raikkonen had a bad day, Hamilton only managed to get 9th, and Raikkonen DNF due to hydraulic pressure problem of his car.

It was a clear and sunny day in the beginning of the race, but 1 lap later, it suddenly rained! All cars ran into pit lane changing tyres. Kimi was intended to change his tyres, too. But he slipped before the pit lane, he had to manage to take one more lap in dry tyres which wasted him lots of time and make him fell to 7th position.

The rain was pouring heavier and heavier. Many cars spin of the track, ran into the gravel, including Hamilton’s. 6 cars spin in the same turner and ran into the gravel, only Hamilton’s didnt stall and was able to get rescued by the crane as well got back to the track.

On the 4th lap, the race was red flagged, the race must pause and wait for restart till the weather condition turn out better. And the new pole position holder was Spyker’s rookie Winkelhock!

Almost 15 mins passed, the weather condition turned out much better, it was sunny again, Jesus! The race finally restarted, Massa easily passed Winkelhock and led the race, Alonso was in the 2nd, Raikkonen was in the 3rd.

As the track got drier and drier, Kimi was much quicker than Alonso, there was only 1 sec b/w them. But a few laps later, Kimi slowed down his car and DNF because of the hydraulic pressure problem. He NEVER win the champion in German. Bad luck guy…

Hamilton didnt continue his 9 sequential podiums miracle. He restarted from the last (14th), wasnt able to get closer to the 8th before the chequered flag. He finally got 9th in this race.

Alonso was the biggest winner in this race, the rain started again within the last 10 laps. McLaren Mercedes car was much quicker than Ferrari in wet condition, and Alonso overtook Massa’s 1st place and then easily pulled away the gap. Meanwhile, after this race, the gap b/w him and Hamilton in driver championship chart was only 2 pts.

Remember Schumacher’s 4-pit-stops in 2004 French GP? Heildfeld took 6 pit stops in this race! That’s crazy!

Who’s this guy in Nuerburgring? He’s Quentin Tarantino, OMFG!

I really love this victory pose of Kimi, the whole Britain is looking forward to their home hero Hamilton winning this race. But Kimi screwed up the young British black boy and McLaren’s good dream. He won the F1 2007 British Grand Prix!

Hamilton started from pole position thx to his light-fuel strategy, he had a very good start that succeed to held up Kimi’s overtaking, but he didnt manage to pull away the gap b/w him and Kimi. Kimi was really hot on his tail, after 15 laps passed, the gap b/w him and Kimi was still 0.8s! And he had to yield to his light-fuel strategy to have an earlier pit-stop, moreover, he made an too-early-start during fuelin’, letting Kimi easily overtook his place.

But Alonso then had a splash n’ dash, that went up to the 1st place, and he was quicker than Kimi. Thx to Ferrari’s heavy-fuel strategy, after Alonso’s 2nd pit-stop, Kimi was able to go on 6 laps more under the light-load status, meanwhile Alonso fell into the traffic jam troubles. Kimi easily regained his 1st place and maintained the position till the chequered flag.

Felipe Massa was a lil bit of unlucky, his car stalled after the warm-up lap. And he had to start from the pit lane in the last position. By the huge advantage of Ferrari car, he easily passed one by one, and got the 5th place from 22nd. I bet if his didnt stall, Hamilton would not be able to continue his 9th sequential podium miracle.

P.S: If McLaren is really associated with this theft case, I’m really BIG SHAME on YOU!

After three sequential miserable races, the Ferrari finally strikes back! The red team took their first 1-2 win at Magny-Cours Circuit de French Grand Prix this season.Finnish driver Kimi Raikkonen took 1st and his Brazilian teammate Felipe Massa took 2nd, McLaren-Mercedes British driver Hamilton took 3rd.

The Ferrari cars look quite competitive this weekend, they set the fastest lap in two of the three practices. Even McLaren-Mercedes driver Alonso had to admit their cars are so strong as Ferrari. So the McLaren decided to use three pitstop strategy for their young driver Hamilton. Their cars are very light on fuel, that giving the Ferrari the chance to pull away the gap.

THE RETURN OF THE ICEMAN

Kimi finally took his 2nd champion for Ferrari. He started from 3rd, but he had a good start that easily overtook Hamilton’s 2nd place. His teammate Massa is crucially flying on the front, there was nearly a 4 secs gap b/w them. But a 3 laps heavier fuel and the traffic jam made him easily pass his teammate thru the 2nd pitstop.

His teammate Felipa Massa didnt push much hard since then, the 2 Ferrari cars smoothly took the 1-2 win at last.

HAMILTON STILL LEADS IN DRIVER SCORE!

The McLaren set 3 pitstop strategy for Hamilton, he was overtook by Kimi in the 1st corner in starting lap. He was quite lighter on fuel than Ferrari’s two cars. The three pitstop cost nearly 25 secs more than the Ferrari. So Hamilton had no way to regain his position, and stayed in the 3rd place till the chequered flag.

But he still leads! Now he’s leading 64 pts in the driver score, pulling away 14 pts with his teammate Alonso in the 2nd. Ferrari’s Massa has 47 pts to his teammate Kimi’s 42 pts in 4th. The two Ferrari drivers are rivaling Alonso’s place.

ALONSO, BAD LUCK

Alonso had a disappointing weekend, his gear box problem caused his absence in the 3rd cue of the Qualifying. Started from 10th, but was held up by B.M.W Sauber’s Heildfeld. Even though Alonso’s soft tyres and light car looked much quicker than Heildfeld, the experienced Germany didnt yield to Alonso’s hazardous attack. Alonso tried late-brake trick to overtake the Germany’s place several times, but Heildfeld closed the door quickly.

Alonso was also very light on fuel, he had to take an earlier pitstop than Heildfeld, when he came out the pit lane, he was held up by his ex-teammate Fisichella.

Alonso finally passed Fisico, now he was rivaling Heildfeld again, he cut thru the inside line and successfully overtook the Germany.

But his earlier pitstop screwed up his hard work, the 2nd pitstop caused him fell behind Heildfeld and Fisico again. At last, he only managed to take 7th place in French Grand Prix.

FERRARI IS BACK

The Italian red army finally rival back! The cars are so competitive and strong, i’m quite looking forward to the next back-to-back British Silverstone GP. Ferrari has much more advantage in aerodynamics development than McLaren.

SCHUMACHER AND ZIDANE

Look that! Schumacher and Zidane appeared at the Magny-Cours Circuit. Schumi gave the retired French football star a passenger ride in his Ferrari FXX car which was presented as a gift by Ferrari. I love the black car!

Hamilton must quite enjoy the days in North America, after a lucky win in the chaotic Canadian GP, he took his second win in Indianapolis, USA GP, Hamilton dominated the whole North America racing.

I’m really quite happy for him, even though he’s not a Ferrari driver. Now he leads ahead him teammate Alonso 10 pts in the drivers for championship chart. Massa took 3rd in this GP. His teammate Kimi didnt succeed to get the podium again. Quite disappointing :(

THE BATTLE BETWEEN THE TEAMMATES

McLaren was so strong that early pulling away the gap between them and Ferrari. Ferrari couldnt even see the tail of the McLarens. But the race turned out the battle between the teammates.

Hamilton VS Alonso

Failed to get the pole-position, starting besides his teammate again, Alonso might be quite unhappy inside. So he really pushed as hard as he can, to overtake his teammate’s position. In lap 38, he was very very hot on Hamilton’s tail, nearly ran side by side with Hamilton. Buy Hamilton didnt look like worrying about that, he held his driving line, letting Alonso yield to have an earlier-brake in the 1st corner.

Alonso might have succeeded to overtake Hamilton’s place thru the pit stop strategy, but he made a little mistake that lost about 2 secs. But Hamilton didnt make any mistake. Hey Guys, he’s not even ever raced in the Indy Circuit before!

Massa VS Kimi

Kimi suffered a bad start that lost 2 places, but he re-gained his 4th position by pit stop strategy. I just dont know why he chose the medium tyres in the beginning of the race, if he used soft tyres, he could have took the pole position! So after a hard time of catching up, he finally faced his teammate Massa in the front. Massa was using medium tyres, which was 0.4 secs/lap slower than the soft one’s performance. Kimi set the fastest lap, but he couldnt find a way to overtake, and both of them knew they should not push too hard, they had to protect their engines. So Kimi didnt get the podium again. I guess he and Jean Tode were both quite disappointing.

FERRARI, WTF IS WRONG WITH U!

Indy is considered one of the best circuit for Ferrari to win, but the gap between them and McLaren was … too huge. They cannot be so optimistic any more. TRY to find a way to improve your cars or to be lapped by McLaren!

WELL DONE, HAMILTON

Congratulations to the UK black guy Hamilton for reaping his debut F1 win in Montreal, Canadian GP! This is the doppest F1 rookie I ever seen, even his 2 titles world championship teammate Alonso cannot be so raw like him. Started from pole position, running thru a succession of car accidents and chaos, Hamilton still held his 1st position till the chequered flag. How can an inexperience F1 driver give us so many miracles ?

Now Hamilton leads 8 pts ahead his teammate Alonso in the driver championship chart, Massa was left 15 pts behind him, let alone the 21 pts Kimi has fell behind. McLaren really looks so strong and Ferrari just fells more and more behind it. It becomes such a tough job for Ferrari to catch up, they’re just not fast enough!

WTF…KIMI RAIKKONEN & FERRARI

I’m really disappointed at Kimi’s performance, he has lost so many pts that I think the possibility for his world championship this year is quite limited. Massa got a black flag penalty for ignoring the red light in pit lane. Ferrari has lost everything they should have in Canada. Ferrari really need someone who like Schumacher and Ross Brown to lead the team to the right direction.

ALONSO CANNOT BE SATISFIED WITH THIS WEEKEND

Started beside his pole-sitter Teammate, but only managed to get 7th in the end. Alonso definitely wouldnt be satisfied with this result. He made a series of mistakes in this race. He was too ambitious to win the race that he ran wide at the 1st corner in the beginning of the race, handed his 2nd position to B.M.W Sauber’s Heildfeld. Moreover, he ran into the grass ground at the chicane for several times, letting Massa easily passed him.

Meanwhile the coming out of the safety car ruined his race, he was running out of fuel that he had to take a pitstop despite of the 10 seconds pit lane stop-and-go penalty.

What’s more, he was pulling so hard that his car’s super-soft tyres lost grip. Even Super Aguri’s Sato easily overtook his 6th position. That’s really a big shame for him.

ACCIDENT, ACCIDENT, ACCIDENT

B.M.W Sauber driver Kubica could be the most unfortunate guy this weekend, he got a terrible crash on the wall in the hairpin corner. This was a terrible accident, his car got totally smashed, fortunately this accident only broke his ankle, nothing really serious happened on him.

Car accidents also happened on Sutil, Alberts, Liuzzi and Truli, the safety came out for 4 times that completely confused everyone including the audiences. Ferrari was the biggest loser, but William’s Wurz who started from 19th was the luckiest guy in the chaos, he finally got 3rd.

CHAOS

4 times coming out of the Safety car ruined every strategy the teams have made

Big crashes never stopped

Massa and Fisichella both got a black flag penalty for ignoring the red light in the pit lane

Alonso and Rosberg both got a 10 seconds pit lane stop-and-go penalty for taking a pit stop despite of the yellow light in the pit lane.

Someone benefited from the collision and chaos, such as Wurz, Sata…

Super Aguri’s Anthony Davidson took a weird pit stop that his team didnt even prepare for it. And his teammate Sato also wasted several seconds due to the inefficient cooperation of his mechanics.

Button never started as his Honda refused to fire up on the grid.

OVERALL

I never seen such a big chaotic race before. Canadian GP was exciting but also confusing…I’d like to see the re-up for Ferrari in Indianapolis, USA GP.

This might be one of the longest time I ever been thru in watching F1 race, I mean this 2 hours racing really really makes me bored and sleepy.

Dont expect too much in Monaco, it’s quite difficult to overtake in Monte Carlo such a narrow street circuit. But just look back to 2005, Kimi did such a great racing, and Truli overtook Fisichella in the Grand Hotel hairpin, the most impossible corner for overtaking. What’s more, Williams’s Webber and Heildfeld both overtook Alonso in Nouvelle Chichane. In 2006, Schumacher started from the 22th and achieved 5th place. Then how can the Monaco GP turn out so boring this year.

There’s totally no overtaking at all, but McLaren’s two drivers kept lapping and lapping the others, even the 4th car — Fisichella’s. And the 3rd place driver Massa nearly fell behind the two McLarens ONE MINUTE. Well, I’m really astonished by the performance of McLaren in Monaco, their cars are so quick and solid, even Hamilton kissed the wall, nothing got broken…

A mistake Kimi made in qualifying broke the right steering arm of his car, resulted a bad start position and a tough time for him to race. Kimi only managed to get 1pt in this race, he has lost too many pts in these 2 Grand Prix (Spain and Monaco). He’s getting further and further away from the world championship.

Ferrari seemed to be quite strong in the beginning of this season, but now McLaren looks much more competitive than Ferrari. McLaren has got 20pts beyond Ferrari, as Kimi left 15pts to catch up with the two McLaren drivers.

I was looking forward to Hamilton’s debut F1 win in Monaco, but…did McLaren promise Alonso a GP champion to make up the regrets in his home Spanish Barcelona race?

The new F1 racing rules are killing the excitement and interest of F1 sports.

RACING

After a whole month of non-racing, finally F1 racing came back to Barcelona,Spain, Alonso’s home grand prix. But this weekend doesnt belong to him, but Ferrari’s Felipe Massa. Alonso’s teammate Hamilton got second, and he managed to get third thx to Kimi’s retirement.

Massa started from pole position, but Alonso was so ambitious and eager to win this racing, so he moved to the outside in the 1st corner and tried to steal the 1st position from inside in the next corner of the chicane. But Massa didnt give him an inch to let him pass, he closed the door, Alonso’s car ran off the road into the sand ground.

Massa drove so bleeding quickly, no one was able to catch up with him. Hamilton lost more and more time to catch up with Massa. And his teammate Alonso was mostly 10sec behind him, so he got the 2nd place again. Now he leads the world championship with 30pts.

KIMI RAIKKONEN

Kimi wont be happy for this result at all, he suffered a DNF due to the electronic problem. Now he fell into 4th in driver championship, 8 pts behind Hamilton. He still need time to know F2007 more, qualifying is his biggest headache.

LEWIS HAMILTON

Even though I’m a part of tifosi, I’m really quite happy to see McLaren’s rookie Hamilton leading the championship. He doesnt make any mistake, he knows how to overtake and defend, well, i’d really like to see the black guy to win 2007 driver champion if Kimi doesnt make it.

OVERALL

Well, what i wanna say is the F1 racing becomes more and more boring, really! We dont see any overtaking in the front, everyone puts focus on qualifying, to win the pole position means to win the racing. Drivers are so skillful in defending, if they dont make any mistake, there’s no overtaking at all. What we see now is lots of cars running in their own way, racing with themselves. How F1 becomes so boring!

How does Alonso feel?

Massa did a hat trick again, he looks so happy.

Long Time No See, Schumi! I’m missing you!

Finally, Felipe Massa took his 1st win this season in Bahrain GP after 2 disaster races. His biggest rival Lewis Hamilton took second behind him, and his teammate Kimi Raikkonen got third. After this race, now Hamilton shares the same pts (22 pts) with Kimi and Alonso at the top of the drivers score chart.

Massa did a good start from pole position, Hamilton couldnt manage to overtake Massa’s place. But Alonso reap Kimi’s third place in the 2nd corner after starting.Kimi tried to take back his position, but Alonso didnt leave any space to let him go.Meanwhile Hamilton set the fastest lap again and again, he pushed quite hard to catch Massa, but still no luck.So he took his 1st pitstop before Massa,Kimi and Alonso. After Hamilton’s pitstop,Massa quickly did his pitstop and kept his position easily. Alonso seemed to be much slower than his teammate and Kimi,Kimi still hadnt found a way to pass,so he was waiting for Alonso’s pitstop to let him breath some fresh air. Finally Alonso took his 1st pitstop, thus Kimi was able to make a much quicker lap,1 lap later,Kimi took his 1st pitstop, his mechanics changed his rear tyres but not front tyres, this precise pitstop made him took back his 3rd position from Alonso. Unfortunately Alonso couldnt even kept his 4th place,Nick Heldfeld did an excellent overtaking,Alonso fell to 5th position.

I was expecting Kimi could reap the second place from Hamilton, but after his 2nd pitstop, his car seemed much slower than Hamilton’s, he fell 8 secs behind Hamilton! Hamilton was rivaling Massa again, he tried to catch up with Massa, but there was no enough way letting him push. Massa was the fisrt one who saw the waving chequered flag, Hamilton was the second,Kimi got third, and Heldfeld…still/always got his 5th!

Felipe Massa was the happiest guy today!

But actually Hamilton was the biggest winner today, he got the same pts with his teammate and Kimi. What a RAW guy!

Kimi still looked unhappy, he’s eagerly need another championship again.
