A Brief Introduction on Myself
Hi all. I am a graduate who spent 4 years in Nanchang University, a college in southeast of China. My online name is punkid (or puNk!d), which I’ve been using for 7 years. My real name is Li Jin, given by my grandpa after my birth. Jin (進) in Chinese dictionary denotes ‘progress’, that means I should make some progress everyday, trying to be better and better.
My major in college is Finance & Investments, dealing with sorts of mathematics, statistics and economic theorem. But most of my spare time is spent on computer and reading, I show great interest in web design with Web Standards, I’m also an opensource fanatic, I’ve been using GNU/Gentoo Linux for 6+ years, if you’ve been a linux-user for some times and wanna have some more understanding on Linux, I would recommend you Gentoo Linux.
Reading didnt really take much part of my life untill I entered into college, with Douban I can get lots of recommendation on reading, picking up the right book for me has never been so easy. My reading range covers web design, programming, mathematics, economics and novels .etc. Its very appreciated if you share some good ones with me.
I’m a big music lover, my favorite band is Radiohead, I just cant help listening to their every album over and over again, especially during those sleepless nights. Thru my last.fm page, you could know more on my music taste.
Movie also takes a significant part of my life, I watch a lot of movies. I’m always a David Fincher, Tim Burton, Stanley Kubrick and Christopher Nolan’s die-hard fan, Fight Club is the greatest film ALL TIME! And comes to my favorite actor, Edward Norton FTW! He knows exactly how to act and which film he should take on.
Formula One is my biggest weekend holiday entertainment. I’ve been a part of Tifosi since I began watching Formula One racing from ’05 Season. Definitely Michale Schumacher is the best driver, since he has retired from F1 driving, I’ll continue supporting on Scuderia Ferrari. In 07 Season, Ferrari has done a great job, they won both of the driver and constructor champion title. Especially for Kimi Raikkonen, it was so unbelievable and miraculous that he turned every possibility into reality in the last three GPs, and snatched the champion title from Alonso and Hamilton (he was left 7 pts behind ’em !) in Brazil GP. The unlucky ice man finally made it, he deserves it !
My favorite foods are chocolate, chocolate and chocolate. And I drink a lot of coffee, especially black coffee. Pepsi is also a big consumption in summer :P But I never gain any weights on ’em, that’s weird.

Back to the summer vocation in ’05, after the CET. I settled my first blog on Blogcn, I started to write some personal stuff and interesting things, as time went on, I developed some understanding on web development, so I decided to give a shot on wordpress, I built the Punk ProjeKt site for fun, which is no longer maintained. A year ago, with my friend Tony‘s help, I finally set up my personal site, and here it is.
